Norman Westberg

Known primarily as the guitarist for the seminal New York no wave band Swans, Norman Westberg also crafts vast sonic soundscapes under his own name. Westberg's dark, ambient instrumental music stands in stark contrast to the walls of noise constructed by Swans, but is no less intense. He's touring in support of his recently-released album, 13. Book It! 5K Run & Summer Reading Kickoff

The Friends of the Hoover Library present Book It! - a 5K to raise money and awareness for all that our Library offers. The run will be digitally timed and Hoover High School's Coach Devon Hind joins us as race MC. Following the race, the summer reading fun continues with games, inflatables, and the BMX Trickstars.
