This Oscar-nominated documentary tells the story of nine African-American teenagers wrongly convicted of a shocking crime in 1931. Lyme disease is endemic in seven Alabama counties, including Jefferson, Shelby and Tuscaloosa. Passed to humans by tick bite, this disease can cause extreme health problems.
