#TheGreatGive is now only ONE week away! Over the next week, we invite you to take a “selfie” with your favorite book or library card and post it to your social media pages to celebrate the upcoming campaign. We also have fans at each local library that we would love for you to use in your selfie!
Feel free to use #TheGreatGive when you post your picture, and we will randomly select our favorite selfies to post on our Jefferson County Library Facebook page.Those that use the campaign hashtag will be entered into a drawing for an e-reader.
Our goal for #TheGreatGive campaign is to raise $15,000 over the span of two days, Tuesday, May 12 and Wednesday, May 13.
The Public Libraries In Jefferson County’s campaign will raise money for cooperative services that link all of our 40 libraries under one card. You can donate by logging onto http://www.razoo.com/story/The-Great-Give-2015. As we’ve mentioned over the last several weeks, we need your help for this campaign as you send our message to all of your families and friends on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, or by forwarding our emails.
When you donate, you are helping us to link all of our libraries as part of our "40 Libraries . 1 County . 1 Card" cooperative system. Our computer system, online catalog and databases, internet connectivity and delivery service are all funded by the Jefferson County Library Cooperative, a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization.
Please raise your hand today and commit to a partnership with your library cooperative which includes all 40 libraries in Jefferson County. Help us meet our goal of $15,000 over two days in May. Any amount you can give is appreciated! |
