Thank A Vet Week Veterans Reception

Join us at the library for the City of Hoover's Thank A Vet Week kick-off event. There will be a program, reception, Alabama Youth Symphony Concert and a special flag lowering ceremony. The celebration continues throughout the week with daily flag lowering ceremonies, a Presidential trivia program, a documentary about American military life, and several patriotic displays throughout the library.

The Alabama Public Library Service (APLS) is conducting a review of public library services in the state. We invite you to take an online survey and give your valuable feedback about which library services you consider most important to you, your family, and your community. Your input will help to shape future library services and the funding that supports them. The survey will take approximately 10-12 minutes to complete. Your participation is entirely voluntary and confidential.

The online survey will be available between October 24 - November 18. To take the survey visit: http://webmini.apls.state.al.us/survey/.

We also invite you to a Town Hall Meeting on November 3, 2016 from 4-6 p.m. at Homewood Public Library to express your opinions.
